Biostatistics
Statisticians, from the department of biostatistics, collaborate with Frontiers investigators to provide optimal study designs and data analytic plans for their clinical and translational research projects. They work with investigators from the earliest development stage of their projects through data collection, data management, data analysis, and data interpretation. The statisticians contribute to the educational programs of Frontiers to mentor, educate, and train investigators in biostatistics, research designs, and data management. They conduct ethical and scientific reviews of research proposals submitted to Frontiers for funding and actively engage in developing novel statistical methodologies, software tools, and applications for clinical and translational research.
