Personalized Medicine and Outcomes Center (PMOC)
The Personalized Medicine and Outcomes Center focuses primarily on providing resources and consultation to researchers in the following areas:
- Analysis of Large DatabaseQuality Assessment
- Quality Improvement Analysis
- Economics, Health Status and Decision Analysis
- Survey Design
- Qualitative Research Design
- Outcomes Education Program
The PMOC draws on the strengths of the cardiovascular research programs of Mid America Heart Institute that developed a cardiovascular outcomes model to tailor outcomes prediction. This model will be adapted for application in other research areas of interest to Frontiers researchers. Other large research databases, available from KU and UMKC, which advance knowledge on health outcomes and the dissemination and implementation of that knowledge for practice are available to Frontiers researchers.
